Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic direction and support to executive leadership and department heads.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to executive leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze financial data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Support decision-making with robust financial models and analyses.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, establish financial goals, and drive performance. Foster a culture of financial accountability.
• Investment Analysis: Lead financial due diligence and analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other investment opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role. Experience in technology or SaaS environments preferred.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university is required. An MBA or CFA is highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide strategic insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools. Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with financial software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) is a plus.
