Job Description

Zama is building the future of privacy for blockchain with FHEVM, enabling developers to add encrypted computation to their applications without needing cryptography expertise. Our mission is to make FHE accessible, practical, and enjoyable to build with.

We’re looking for a Developer Relations Engineer who combines strong development skills with a passion for supporting and enabling builders. You will help maintain and scale our developer programs, automate repetitive workflows, improve our templates, our technical documentation, and support developers using Zama’s technology — especially at hackathons and live events.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coding, travelling, and helping others succeed, while continuously simplifying and automating processes to make the builder experience smoother.

Responsibilities

Hackathons & Events

  • Represent Zama at hackathons, conferences, meetups, and workshops.

  • Support teams building with privacy-preserving smart contracts.

  • Run demos, live coding sessions, and contest support.

Developer Programs & Automation

  • Support the Zama developer program, including bounty and builder submissions.

  • Review and validate submissions with a strong focus on quality and fairness.

  • Identify repetitive tasks and automate them through scripts, internal tooling, or process improvements.

  • Proactively address developer issues by opening actionable tickets, contributing fixes via PRs, or coordinating with the appropriate team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Developer Experience team to enhance builder workflows across the platform.

Community & Hands-On Support

  • Provide active support on Discord and partner communication channels.

  • Help developers debug, troubleshoot, and succeed technically with Zama’s stack.

  • Coordinate 1:1 sessions with priority ecosystem developers and partners.

Technical Documentation & Resources

  • Contribute to and expand the FHEVM docs, guides, and examples.

  • Create tutorials, videos, and demos to improve developer onboarding.

  • Maintain clear written updates for new features, version changes, and breaking updates.
