About the role
We are seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role will help transition key transactional and operational finance responsibilities into the finance function. This role is collaborative, cross‑functional, and highly interactive, working closely with Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do
Operational Finance & Payments
Process invoices, expense requests, reimbursements, card approval requests, and per diems through internal systems such as Moss, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
Follow up with internal stakeholders for missing documentation or clarifications as needed.
Support routine accounting and payment‑related tasks to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Shadow & Learn Accounting Processes
Work closely with other team members to learn and understand internal payment policies, accounting procedures, and financial controls.
Build proficiency across transactional finance workflows to ensure full operational coverage.
Cross‑Functional Communication
Engage regularly with internal teams across finance, operations, and other departments to address inquiries, coordinate processes, and maintain clear communication.
Act as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding routine finance matters.
Process Improvement & Projects
Contribute to process optimisation initiatives and support the adoption of new tools or automation (including AI‑assisted workflows) where appropriate.
Support manual crypto‑related accounting tasks as needed, under guidance.
Team Support
Provide general assistance across the finance function to enable strategic focus for senior team members.

Participate in ad‑hoc projects and assist with other tasks that support the effectiveness of the finance team.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, able to manage routine tasks while learning new responsibilities.
Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with internal partners across teams.

Tech‑savvy and open to learning new tools; willingness to engage with process improvements and emerging technologies.
Previous startup experience is a plus
German language knowledge is a plus
