We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with a strong background in distributed systems running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure using Azure DevOps, Kubernates, Terraform, Apigee, and Datadog for monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of platform engineering, DevOps practices, and site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, build, deploy, and test changes to existing and new application architectures.
  • Maintain and improve ecosystem cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Github Actions.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with product and scrum teams to deliver on ambitious product roadmaps.
  • Engage with security teams and SREs to enhance infrastructure security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application deployment and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Monitoring and Incident Management:
  • Develop and implement monitoring solutions using Datadog for both infrastructure and application levels.
  • Own and resolve escalations by working across multiple teams in a cloud platform web environment.
  • Establish operational procedures for day-to-day maintenance and incident response, including triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
• Automation and Efficiency:
  • Solve problems using a software development and automation mindset.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Implement and manage developer portals and API gateway management solutions.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in technology or equivalent.
  • GCP , Azure or AWS Certificates
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
  • Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly Azure DevOps and Github Actions.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and log management solutions such as Log Stash.
• DevOps and SRE Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of security/testing tools, including SAST, DAST, and container scanning.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience in performing pre-release load, stress, and failure testing in pre-production environments.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle and resolve recurring issues.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in FinTech, blockchain, or digital payment environments.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification V3.
  • Familiarity with SQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with API first Goverance
  • Previous experience Security or DevSecOps engineer.
