We are a rapidly growing, highly cross-functional team that partners closely with industrial design, concept engineering, hardware, software, and product teams to define requirements and deliver our next generation family of devices. We offer competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative work environment.
About the Role
We are seeking a Camera System Validation Engineer to join our device engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating and characterizing cutting-edge camera modules and imaging systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance, reliability, and quality standards. You will work across hardware, firmware, and software teams to develop test methodologies, analyze imaging performance, and support the integration of camera technology into consumer devices.
Key Responsibilities
Define, develop, and execute validation plans for camera systems including sensors, optics, and image processing pipelines.
Characterize imaging performance (e.g., resolution, noise, color accuracy, distortion, HDR, low-light, thermal behavior).
Build automated test setups and scripts to accelerate validation and regression testing.Collaborate with optics, hardware, and software teams to debug camera system issues and optimize performance.
Conduct root-cause analysis on system-level camera failures and propose corrective actions.
Document validation methodologies, test results, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Support supplier engagement for camera module validation and quality assurance.Contribute to long-term test infrastructure and tool development for scalable validation.
