Livepeer Studio is an API-first, open-source, cost-effective video streaming platform, built on top of the Livepeer network. It is high performance while disruptive in cost - saving up to 90% compared to other cloud providers. Livepeer Studio has been growing rapidly via a founder-led sales tactic in the past 8 months, with month-to-month demand increasing at 30% per month. We are looking to establish a lean and effective sales and marketing practice that will predictably drive leads and close deals.

As a blockchain-based protocol that has been live on Ethereum since 2018, the Livepeer network is one of the first web3 networks to deliver real-world value to an existing multi-billion dollar industry. We do this by using our open-source and blockchain coordinated network to enable a worldwide community of hardware operators to run infrastructure for video streaming. About the Role

As Livepeer Studio's sales representative, you will play a crucial role in driving adoption for a disruptive video streaming service. You will be working closely on a multi-disciplinary GTM team, and laser focused on driving leads and growing the early-stage pipeline leading to closing deals. Building on top of early product success, you will focus your time on finding more customers that look like our existing customers, and going after them directly while leverage marketing for air cover. You will also be covering inbound leads, qualifying them efficiently, and engaging with the ones that represent meaningful deal size. Your success will be measured by leads generated, pipeline size and deals closed.

This role is great for someone confident in their own abilities, and looking for an opportunity with room and flexibility to accelerate their career growth. You will take advantage of already growing demand and an established product, engineering, and marketing team. The work will be challenging because you will be the first person accountable to deliver sales numbers, but it will also be rewarding because there is plenty of low hanging fruit. As the demand grows, you will get a chance to lead a team if inclined. From deal sourcing and direct outreach to qualification and deal close, a well-rounded sales professional with a strong sense of urgency will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to establish new leads and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets
  • 5+ years video industry sales experience
  • Strong ability to close deals that average $5k+ MRR with an accurate pipeline and forecast
  • Strong ability to pull in the right resources to help with complex deal management
  • Ability to navigate deals/sales cycles with partners in product / eng / marketing
  • Independent, self-disciplined and possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with Livepeer Studio’s ICP segments - social streaming, sports streaming, entertainment, church streaming, and emerging OTT services
  • Thrive in a start-up environment with minimal operational support

    Requirements

    • Accountable for driving business, and meeting or exceeding quota
    • Technical proficient to grasp the core value of Livepeer Studio’s developer facing video streaming product, and convey strong credibility in sales communication.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to drive revenue and market share
    • Prepare and lead proposals, quotes, and contracts
    • Upsell products and services across existing book of business
    • Manage time well while running all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, negotiation close, account management
    • Ability to travel to visit customers and attend trade shows/events
    • Demonstrated success at an early stage startup or comparable environments. You default to taking initiatives and creating clarity for others.
    • Thrive on a remote first team - sift through Discord / Slack threads to gain context, enjoy written communication as much as verbal communication.

    Benefits

    • Base salary $95,000 - $160,000 for candidates residing in US
    • 2x OTE from base salary
