ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly driven Hong Kong Lead to own and operate our presence in one of the most important global financial hubs. This role will oversee all market-building activities in Hong Kong, with a focus on the stablecoin and real-world asset (RWA) sectors. You will be responsible for managing the full client pipeline, from prospecting to deal closure, while maintaining strategic relationships with institutions, financial service companies, and regulators. In addition to driving the sales pipeline, you will also play a critical role in shaping our brand in Hong Kong. This includes supporting marketing initiatives, participating in flagship conferences, and establishing thought leadership through an active offline presence. As the face of LayerZero in the market, you will represent our vision to the local ecosystem, ensuring we are viewed as the leading interoperability infrastructure provider in Hong Kong.
This is a high-impact role that requires a mix of strategic thinking, sales execution, and operational excellence. You will represent our company in one of the most dynamic markets for digital assets and financial innovation, acting as both a relationship builder and a business operator.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Market Leadership: Lead our Hong Kong operations, building and executing a strategy to expand our footprint in the stablecoin and RWA sectors.
- Pipeline Ownership: Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key institutional clients, financial service firms, and regulators.
- Deal Execution: Structure, negotiate, and close complex deals that drive adoption of our technology in Hong Kong.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in discussions with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies to help shape the future of digital assets in the region.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal BD, product, and solutions teams to deliver value to clients and ensure alignment with global priorities.
- Market Development: Identify new opportunities across RWAs, stablecoins, and related sectors, acting as an entrepreneur within the organization.
WHO YOU ARE
- 6+ years of professional experience, with significant exposure to financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
- Strong understanding of stablecoins, RWAs, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle business development, from origination to deal closure.
- Deep experience in managing institutional relationships, including regulators and financial service companies.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with high agency in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong sales acumen combined with operational rigor and strategic thinking.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to wear many hats and independently drive market development.
- Professional proficiency in English is required, and fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus.
- A passion for building in the intersection of finance and technology.
