Day to Day
The Glassdoor Business Unit's mission is to make worklife better for everyone. We are looking for a self starting, execution focused growth manager who takes ownership of paid and search channels and delivers measurable results. You are experienced in Google and Meta and understand how to build, instrument, and optimize campaigns that drive efficient growth.
This role resides within our Growth team and focuses on scaling performance programs across Paid and SEO/AEO that drive user growth and long term engagement. You will lead acquisition strategy, manage a team of growth marketers, and translate performance data into clear insights that inform optimization strategies and improve business outcomes.
We are looking for a technical builder who is equally logic-driven and people oriented, someone comfortable inside ad platforms and search ecosystems, fluent in instrumentation, and compelled to turn performance data into action. This is a leadership role that remains engaged, setting the standard for measurement accuracy, testing velocity, and incremental growth.
You will oversee execution and optimization across Google Ads, Meta, SEO/AEO, and emerging platforms. This includes campaign and keyword strategy, implementing and validating tracking, and continuously improving performance. You will partner cross functionally with Product Marketing, Analytics, Product, Creative, Engineering, and Lifecycle teams to ensure acquisition programs are properly instrumented, insights are clear, and optimization strategies are grounded in business impact.
This is an opportunity to operate at the intersection of systems, data, and growth while building and scaling the performance infrastructure that drives meaningful impact for the Glassdoor brand.
Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition strategy across Paid and SEO/AEO to drive scalable traffic growth
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of growth marketers, elevating accountability and performance standards
- Own execution and optimization across Google Ads, Meta, and search channels
- Identify high-leverage growth opportunities and define a structured experimentation roadmap
- Develop and manage audience, keyword, and targeting strategies across channels
- Ensure accurate instrumentation, attribution, and tracking across web and mobile environments (AppsFlyer, pixels, event tracking), including defining technical requirements
- Translate performance data into clear insights and partner with Analytics, Product, and Engineering to implement, QA, and communicate measurement solutions to leadership
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Experience managing Paid and/or SEO programs at scale. Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms. Exceptional understanding of SEO fundamentals and evolving search ecosystems
- Proven understanding of mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer or similar), attribution models, conversion tracking, and event instrumentation
- Experience working directly with tracking systems, pixels, UTMs, and conversion APIs
- Excellent critical skills with the ability to connect channel performance to business outcomes
- Ability to manage cross functional initiatives and write clear technical requirements. Highly organized with a bias for action and accountability
- Proven ability to develop and uphold a POV on growth strategy in ambiguous or shifting environments
