Day to Day

Product quality products and features that impact millions of unique users each day. Work with Product Managers and Engineers to understand and clarify new feature requests that support our business goals. Work with Software Engineers in Test to discover new ways of creating and executing tests. Provide guidance on testing methodologies to the testing team to keep the entire team accountable for the quality of work released in biweekly sprints. Push new efficiencies with team, from promoting test coverage to creating new tools and evangelizing automation best practices. Utilize experience with various automation frameworks, a strong understanding of QA best practices, object oriented programming experience, and Linux environments.

Telecommuting permitted anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
One (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a Test Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires one (1) year of experience in the following:
1. Testing consumer web sites and building functional automation tests;
2. Automated test tools and frameworks;
3. Building maintainable and efficient tests using tools like Selenium, Webdriver IO, or JUnit;
4. Programming experience with Java or other object oriented languages;
5. Automating API tests; and
6. Linux, SQL, performance tools, bash scripts and version control systems such as git.

Salary Range Transparency

Salary Range: $99,000 to $149,000 per year.
