Day to Day

  • Manage daily office operations, including coordinating employee requests and overseeing their prioritization to ensure timely resolution within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage and coordinate internal office communications to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected. Partner with internal teams to maintain accurate and accessible information on office resources and updates.
  • Manage relationships with local third-party service providers including food services, fitness vendors, and janitorial to ensure high-quality service and operational continuity.
  • Plan, execute, and manage employee engagement events ensuring alignment with company culture and adherence to budget guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key cultural ambassador, advocating company values and coordinating meetings and community events that foster a cohesive and engaged workplace. Collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional partners on space planning projects, office moves, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Oversee the food and beverage program, ensuring a varied selection to accommodate dietary needs and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast office budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial accountability.
  • Research and identify new vendors in partnership with procurement and legal partners. Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors on special projects and operational needs, as well as alignment and execution of workplace-related initiatives
  • Maintain consistent compliance to safety and compliance standards through regular inspections and proactive risk management.
  • Guide and support the Workplace Operations Coordinators through coaching, task delegation, and guidance.
  • Serve as the primary onsite representative for Workplace Experience (minimum four days per week) to manage the team and ensure smooth operations and consistency for local employees.

Skills/Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities, or office operations management within a fast-paced environment as well as experience in maintaining workplace safety and compliance through proactive risk management.
  • Proven ability to develop and mentor a local workplace team, fostering a positive culture and operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects with solid organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage collaborators at all levels, including senior leadership and external vendors.
  • Highly organized and structured and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, changing workplace and bringing a proactive and adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Proficient in workplace and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira and experience using and learning new technologies, systems, and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Fluency in English and any local language requirements as applicable.

Salary Range Transparency

Austin Metro Area - $50,000 - 75,000 USD per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
