Day to Day
The Senior Specialist, Talent Management & Analytics plays a critical role in enabling a high-performance culture within the Glassdoor organization at Indeed. This role is responsible for executing, operationalizing, and continuously improving talent management and performance enablement programs in close partnership with the Director of People Business Partnership & Talent Management and People Business Partners.
The Senior Specialist supports the delivery of enterprise talent programs at the Glassdoor business unit level, helping translate Indeed-wide talent strategies into practical, business-informed solutions. This role brings an execution mindset, applied critical, data-backed skills, and sound judgment to ensure performance, promotion, and succession processes are effective, equitable, and aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Talent & Performance Enablement: Design, execute, and continuously improve BU-level talent and performance programs (goals, reviews, calibration, promotions), translating Indeed-wide strategy into approaches aligned to Glassdoor’s strategy and operating model.
- High Performance & Capability Frameworks: Support the definition and evolution of a Glassdoor-specific view of high performance aligned with Indeed’s enterprise talent philosophy by developing, refreshing, and implementing practical, and equitable talent frameworks—including competencies, business-critical role definitions, and promotion criteria—that are consistently applied across the business unit.
- Leadership & Succession Planning: Enhance the organization’s leadership bench and mitigate talent risk through critical role identification, succession planning, and readiness-focused development planning.
- Talent Insights & Reporting: Deliver actionable talent insights and reporting by assessing trends and translating data into clear recommendations for managers and People Business partners.
- Partnership & Influence: Serve as a trusted talent advisor to business leaders and People Business Partners, collaborating cross-functionally and influencing through program design, data-driven insights, and collaboration with the business to drive impact. Partner cross-functionally with Learning, People Analytics, and core People teams to ensure alignment and integration within Indeed.
Skills/Competencies
- Talent & Organizational Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting the design and delivery of talent and performance programs in a complex, matrixed organization, including experience translating enterprise frameworks into practical, business-specific and equitable solutions.
- Data-Backed Insight & Judgment Demonstrated ability to assess data and translate insights into clear recommendations, with sound judgment and objectivity in talent assessment. Familiarity with people analytics tools, dashboards, and talent reporting methodologies.
- Execution & Accountability: Exceptional execution discipline and ownership mindset, with the ability to apply strategic context and drive work through to high-quality outcomes.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving business needs, applying structured problem-solving to move work forward
- Relationship Management: Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship management skills, with experience influencing across levels and functions in business-embedded People roles within high-growth, scaling, or transformation environments.
