Day to Day

The Regional Workplace Operations Manager ensures an inclusive and fun environment, leading teams to shape employee experiences.
You will manage and coach our Regional Workplace Operations teams in shaping how offices operate for the Region.
This is an exciting role working with multiple outside teams to create one seamless employee experience across Indeed sites. You’ll work within the region, heading up the Workplace Operations team to ensure our workplace exhibits our culture and values.

Responsibilities

Team Management:

  • Run teams across East Coast and Canada, ensuring top-notch support, facilities, and employee experiences
  • Responsibilities include recruiting (selecting and onboarding), plus ongoing team coaching and development.
  • Influence and motivate teams through leading streamlined processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering positive morale within the team.

Operations Management

  • Manage regional office budgets, ensuring smart expenditure, and overseeing local teams to align spending with budget limitations.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and projects that improve the overall employee experience at Indeed.
  • Support space planning, office expansions, and layout changes as required

Workplace Perks and Programs

  • Oversee successful food programs at each location by reviewing feedback, negotiating contracts with Procurement for quality and exceptional services.
  • Oversee the proper implementation of all global, regional, philanthropic and office-specific events throughout the year.

Partnership

  • Partner with Indeed's departments on projects, partnering with Real Estate, local leadership, Procurement, IT, and Physical Security.

Skills/Competencies

  • 8+ years experience in Workplace Operations/ Employee Experience or equivalent. Proven experience as a Workplace Operations Manager or similar role, with demonstrated project management expertise
  • 5+ years of People Management experience. The ability to manage, coach and manage a team is important in this role.
  • Previous event management experience for both large-scale and small-scale gatherings.
  • Project management self-directed experience, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute tasks in an efficient manner
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven planning organizational and relational skills with a background in office administration.
  • Exceptional computer skills and must be internet savvy (Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Excel and PowerPoint)

Salary Range Transparency

NYC Metro Area 79,000 - 107,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
