Hivemapper is building the world's freshest map using street-level imagery contributed by a community of everyday drivers, large fleets, and everyone in between. We have over 60,000 contributors around the world, and have now mapped over 13M unique kilometers, or more than 21% of the world's roads.
Map data customers use Hivemapper’s developer-friendly APIs to access fresher road imagery and map feature datasets than any centralized mapping project can offer. Some examples of map data customers include enterprise technology, mapping, robotaxis, rideshares, and real estate!
The Difference You Would Make
We are looking for a rockstar Sales Development Representative that is motivated in advancing their career to the next level. In this role, you will be at the front of Hivemapper’s go-to-market strategy. This includes hunting for leads, owning deals from sourcing to close, and mapping enterprise accounts. You will be a critical component in Hivemapper’s GTM organization and will play a pivotal role in growing our revenue to new heights!
This is an onsite role, expected to be in our San Francisco office five days a week.

In this role, you will…

  • Act as the initial point of contact for new leads/customers and respond promptly to their inquiries
  • Engage with potential clients through various communication channels such as calls, emails, and live chat platforms aimed at creating new business opportunities
  • Build outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 4 years of experience in sales and/or business development– ideally experience in products related to mapping, navigation, positioning. Your sales experience must be in digital technology products.
  • Proven track record of success in a performance-driven role focused on exceeding specific metrics (i.e. carrying a quota)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills that show enthusiasm, energy, and poise.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take initiative to promptly resolve and learn from challenges.
