Job Description:
We are looking for a rockstar VP - Marketing for our early team to join the mission to shape the brand narrative and community building for our business. You will work directly alongside the Founders in developing the communication strategy and we can assure you that this learning will be unparalleled. The candidate needs to showcase / hone the below attributes to succeed in this role.
Community-first Approach - Ability to think from the relationship between an Artist and his fan’s to develop the entire strategy to build a vibrant community supporting the project.
People Leadership - Ability and experience in hiring and grooming high performers and keeping the team motivated and focused
Communication Skills - Bring clarity to the entire team about what we are trying to solve and why; and be able to lead a group of people through influence. Ability to communicate at all levels within the company and represent the company external.
Performance / Social Marketing - Understanding of social marketing in the new age for the Gen-Z and what drives / amplifies the Artist-Fan engagement
Analytical Skills - Comfortable in solving problems and taking decisions through the use of data; yet able to move forward in absence of perfect data.
Thinking Big and Small - Able to zoom out and view the larger picture as well as be able to focus on the tiny details.
Growth Mindset - Always on the lookout for improvements and learn from failures. Seek and share constructive feedback and help build a similar mindset in the team
Experience:
Tier 1 College (preferably IITs / IIMs / ISB)
10+ years of experience currently leading Marketing in a B2C / D2C company
Experience building communities is a plus
Experience with Analytical tools like Google Analytics / MoEngage is preferred
Ex entrepreneurs / previous startup experience is nice to have
