Job Description
As one of our first smart contract engineers you will be both architecting and building NFT token architecture. You'll be responsible for bringing high level of security, speed, and stability to our platform.
Responsibilities
Design, code, test and deploy smart contracts on the blockchain network
Review code written by other team members
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ship a consistent experience to our community
Write scripts to automate monitoring and tracking to maintain the overall health of smart contract interactions
Engage our community by sharing our design decisions and document how the protocol works
Collaborate with audit teams to ensure code quality standards and security
Research, architect, and develop innovation solutions to scale the system
Skills
2-3+ years of experience with Solidity
Understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, gas optimization tradeoffs and security best practices
Deployed real smart contracts that have seen public use (in TVL, middleware, governance, DAOs, NFTs) on Ethereum Mainnet, or other EVM chains
Experience with a scripting language for test automation and monitoring, preferably Javascript or Typescript
Have a collaborative, problem-solving attitude and be willing to help other team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills and can discuss technical topics with engineers, researchers etc
Attention to detail
Strongly Recommended
Have used security testing tools like MythX, Slither, Echidna, Mythril
Know how to use monitoring tools like Tenderly
Interested on Ethereum research - L2's, ETH 2, EIPS
Experience with Ethers.js, hardhat, truffle and GraphQL
Experience working with multisig setups
Passionate about open source development and Web3
Understanding of Ethereum protocols in DeFi (Balancer, Yearn, Aave, Synthetix, Compound, etc.), NFTs (CryptoPunks, etc.), or DAOs, and you are a user of some of these protocols will be a plus
