Job Description
This is a W2 engagement. The rate reflects a W2 engagement.
Location: LA - requiring 3 days/week in Torrance, CA office
What will this person be working on:
The Operations and Production Support Technical Analyst monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues related to applications, databases and infrastructure and participate/contribute in root cause analysis. S/He will also support technical work to ensure customer issues are resolved within the Service Level Agreement and work closely with our service partner to achieve group goals and customer satisfaction. Technical analyst will also collaborate closely with other DSD teams and provide training to guide team members on system functionalities and support processes.
Responsibilities:
[Incident Management] Respond to and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on operations.
[Monitoring Systems] Regularly monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
[Troubleshooting] Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to applications, databases, and infrastructure.
[Root Cause Analysis] Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend permanent counter measures.
[Documentation] Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and incidents for future reference.
[Collaboration] Work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to understand system changes and potential impacts.
[Training] Train and guide team members and users on system functionalities and support processes.
[System Upgrades] Assist with system upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure smooth transitions.
[Performance Tuning] Analyze system performance and implement tuning measures to enhance efficiency.
[Reporting] Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and support activities for management review.
[Process Improvement] Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
[Compliance and Security**: Ensure systems comply with organizational policies and security standards.
Required Technical Skills:
JAVA 8, 11, 17, Spring Boot, MSSQL, PGSQL, DB2, RedHat OCP, Linux, Windows IIS and AWS Native Services like S3, Lambda and CloudWatch.

Required Technical Skills:
JAVA 8, 11, 17, Spring Boot, MSSQL, PGSQL, DB2, RedHat OCP, Linux, Windows IIS and AWS Native Services like S3, Lambda and CloudWatch.
- BS/MS degree
- Scripting, database querying, and batch job knowledge
Mandatory Skills and Expertise:
- 5+ of years of experience in Operational and technical support roles
- 3+ in a technical lead or equivalent hands-on role
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to define new processes and improve existing processes, document, and deploy them
- Ability to analyze issues using monitoring tools and restore services by recommending counter measures.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and ServiceNow
