What you'll be working on

• Developing and maintaining core automation scripts using Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript
• Scripting integrations between different systems and platforms
• Automating routine tasks to improve efficiency
  
  

Responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable and well-documented code
• Perform testing and deploy scripts into production environments
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to scripting problems
• Improve existing scripts and develop new ones as needed
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing scripts using Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript
• Experience with writing and testing code, debugging for various projects.
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Sybase / Sybase IQ, MongoDB
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience
• Experience with scripting concepts like variables, conditionals, loops, functions etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new languages/frameworks quickly
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
