Sr Backend Engineer with expertise with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS - as well as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB

About The Job

We are looking for a senior Node.js backend engineer to build scalable high volume low latency backend services. You will work with an experienced global cross-functional team building distributed APIs for players and game creators.

We are looking for engineers with a strong acumen for producing high performance APIs running on Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD on Gitlab, Terraform and application monitoring with Datadog is a big plus!

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in backend development
• 4+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Proficient in building high performance RESTful Web Services
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• Able to perform independently all development tasks based on designs and specs.
• Experience collaborating with remote teams in USA and Europe
• Fully capable of collaborating with designers and front-end engineers to deliver immersive experiences.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional microservices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• Any experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Datadog is a plus.
• Any frontend experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.
