The Opportunity

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, Kanban and other Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve impediments, promote team collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

What You'll Be Working On

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices for 3 teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, promoting effective communication, and ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and priorities.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team's progress, collaborating with stakeholders to address issues and promote a smooth development process.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team by facilitating retrospectives, implementing feedback, and promoting a culture of learning and adaptation.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and the adoption of an Agile mindset.
  • Track and communicate key Agile metrics, such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress, to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues, working collaboratively with the team to develop effective mitigation strategies.
