About the Job

At Blackbird, we're seeking a Senior iOS UI Engineer who expertly bridges the gap between design and engineering, creating seamless and polished user interfaces that resonate with our users. If you have a passion for transforming visionary designs into functional masterpieces, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to refine and realize innovative user interface designs
• Implement dynamic and intuitive interfaces using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and the latest iOS technologies
• Optimize UI performance across all iOS devices
• Engage in the full lifecycle of software development, from concept to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions

Required Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects
• Experience shipping and maintaining at least one app on the App Store
• Expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Cocoa Touch
• Experience with Core Animation and Metal shaders
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality implementations that provide seamless user experiences
• A solid understanding of the principles of good design and its translation into coded design systems
• An understanding of what makes good app architecture and how to maintain such architecture at scale
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile payment solutions and digital wallets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Interested in leveraging technology to revolutionize the dining experience through innovative payment solutions.
• Experience with or interest in blockchain technology and restaurants.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000
