Job Description

  • This position is currently a remote position but we foresee it being a hybrid position in the future. We are building our offices in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas Area and the New York Metropolitan area (NY, NJ, CT, and PA) so candidates living or willing to relocate to these areas will be prioritized.**

Media management is crucial for the success of our content strategy and execution. This role will live on the marketing and creative team and report to the Head of Marketing and Creative Operations. You’ll be responsible for media management of video, photo and creative assets, importing and tagging assets within our app and storage platforms, and have a keen understanding of organizational processes. You’ll establish and maintain our logging protocols and work with stakeholders to share, import and export files as needed. The Content and Media Manager will play a large role in time stamping completed video edits, aiding in podcast productions, and should understand best media and production etiquette. This role will largely be a part of the fitness, training and workout culture with Bodybuilding.com. It is imperative to have a firm grasp of training, exercise, and supplement terms for ideal efficiency. Having a background in training and fitness is a strong recommendation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, storing and organizing incoming media and files
  • Time stamp fitness and training videos, ability to quickly identify exercises and tag appropriately
  • Own import process to backend tagging platform
  • Attach appropriate tagging terms for engineering builds
  • Build workout, programs and movement libraries on backend of app, prior to final approval for app publishing
  • Organize time stamps and logged footage within media management library
  • Provide needed cuts to marketing stakeholders to aid in marketing material creation
  • Collaborate with coaching roster to understand incoming content, owning the final product integrated into app

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in production, film or media management
  • Bachelor's in communications, exercise science, or relevant field
  • MUST understand athletic training, fitness terminology, and nutritional and supplementation terms.
  • Must be able and willing to work with coaches to understand programs, workouts and other details pertaining to media management
